This nest is large. Since the goshawk itself is a fairly large bird of prey and can reach large sizes, about 60 cm. (the nest is approximately 80 cm in diameter) and is located high on the very top of the tree. This type of bird keeps a pair stored for the rest of its life. Once a year, they give birth to 3 chicks.
