Tsar's Glade

One of the most popular tourist attractions is the Tsar’s Meadow, located along many bicycle routes and sightseeing tours in the national park.

According to surviving accounts, King Stanisław August Poniatowski of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth held a hunting feast here. The meadow later became a venue for lavish feasts after “royal” hunts. In the 20th century, the tradition was continued by the General Secretaries of the CPSU Central Committee and other members of the party and Soviet elite. Today, Tsar’s Meadow hosts mass events and celebrations.
