«White Azure Tit» is one of the most elegant and rare birds of the Belarusian Polesie. This charming blue‑and-white bird, popularly known as «prince», can only be found in the floodplain of Pripyat – it does not nest anywhere else in Belarus and Europe.
The white lapis lazuli impresses with its incredible beauty: its contrasting plumage with blue and white shades makes it a real decoration of the Pripyat floodplain. Being a species listed in the Red Book, it is under special protection – every meeting with this bird is considered a great success.
If you are lucky, the «Knyazka of Polesie» can be seen in its natural environment-fluttering among the branches or carefully arranging a nest in a hollow tree. This is not just an observation of a rare bird, but an opportunity to touch the fragile beauty of nature, which is important to protect for future generations.
