In the north-western part of Belarus, within the Belarusian Lake District, lies the forested and lake-rich Naroch region.
Geographical Location.
The Narochansky National Park is located predominantly within the Myadzel District (96%), and partially within the Vileyka, Pastavy, and Smorhon administrative districts.
The national park covers an area of 94,000 hectares.
Its establishment and operation help maintain the ecological balance in the natural complexes of the Naroch region, which lies within the country’s largest resort area, hosting over 100,000 visitors annually.
