Narochansky National Park
The Hunting Grounds of the “Narochansky” National Park State Nature Conservation Institution are located in the north-western part of Minsk Region, primarily within the Myadzel District (and to a lesser extent within the Pastavy, Vileyka, and Smorhon Districts).
The total area of the hunting grounds is 191,500 hectares, comprising:
- Wetlands – 26,900 ha,
- Forest lands – 82,600 ha,
- Field lands – 82,000 ha.
The area has a high density of hoofed game; the forest and field grounds are rich in hare, black grouse, woodcock, partridge, fox, raccoon dog, and marten; a variety of waterfowl is also present.
