A small forest zoo – demonstration open-air cages with wild animals allows visitors to the national park to admire majestic bison, graceful deer and roe deer and see wolves, bears, foxes and several species of birds of prey, among which the white-tailed eagle, the largest nesting bird of prey in Belarus, attracts close attention.
In addition to native species, the enclosures also house several animals introduced to our country at various times: daniels, sika deer and raccoon dogs.
The most famous inhabitant of the enclosures, of course, is the bison, a contemporary of mammoths and woolly rhinoceroses.
Open air cages are located near the Museum of Nature and cover an area of approximately 20 hectares. A tour takes 1 to 2 hours.
There is an entrance fee. Tickets can be purchased at the Info Center, located to the right of the main gate to the national park.
