The wildlife enclosures at the Forest Zoo are designed to closely mirror the natural habitats of each species. The space is designed to allow European bison, deer, and wild boars to move freely within environments that mimic their natural habitats. For predators like bears and wolves, the enclosures feature shelters and landscape elements that mimic their natural forest environment. Visitors are welcome to feed the herbivores with special treats available for purchase at the zoo’s ticket office.
