Trophy red deer hunting takes place from August 20th to October 1st. This period coincides with the rutting season. The animals move extensively in search of a mate and maintain territories. They mark their territories with slashes and marks. Males roar and fight each other while close to their harems of females. Hunts are primarily conducted at sunset and sunrise, capturing the twilight hours, using stalking and ambush techniques, including the use of decoys. Hunting takes place in clearings, clearings, fields, and meadows at the «Barsuki» experimental forest hunting farm and the «Berezina» hunting farm.
